Exam Summary
NTSE is known as National Talent Search Examination. This Exam is conducted by NCERT for providing scholarship to those talented students who want to make career through higher education in Science and Social Studies streams. This examination is for the students studying in Class 10th. The examination is conducted at two levels (1) state-level talent search examination and then, National Level Talent Search Examination. The State Level Talent Search Exam is conducted in all states (by state governments) and union territories (29 States/07 UTs).The students who qualify in State Level Talent Search Examination are eligible to be appear for NTSE stage II examination which is conducted by NCERT. This Scholarship is to help the students to do higher study in Science and Social Studies stream.
Each state or union territory has its own fee structure for NTSE Stage-1.

No fee is charged for NTSE Stage-2.
